Okay, WTF....
Why is it that bad crap happens right after something good?
Fry's was having an electronics sale, and being the no-life computer geek I am I ran on down to grab whatever goodies i could....scored a new Athlon XP 2000+ (w00t! movin on up, from a duron 1.0....) and one of those lil USB mini-HDs.
Well, got home, installed it all, and was cruisin along, till the comp locked up...i figured it'd overheated, so I went and got a replacement CPU and a new heatsink, only to have it tell me that I no longer had WinXP installed.
Long story short: Chernobyl virus. This all happened on the 26th, and April 26th is the anniversary of that
